On April 7th 2024 GenXS will Unleash the Dragon on the streets of Kingston, Jamaica. We begin with Breakfast at the Liguanea Club at 7:00am and hit the streets at 8:30am, we return for lunch and end at the same venue starting at 6:00pm, followed by XS Street, which is free for all GenXS Masqueraders. No parking is allowed at the venue but there is limited parking offered at NHT and the lot beside the Courtyard Marriott Hotel; the use of RideShare/Taxi services is encouraged.

NO WEAPONS ALLOWED!

The Liguanea Club Campus will be the host for breakfast, lunch and evening snacks.

For breakfast, masqueraders will choose from one of the following options.

Lunch is based on your preselected option as indicated on your wristband (C,J or V) as well as Salad Bar, Frosty Station, Delectable dessert and more. The lunch stop will also feature amenities such as:

Courtesy Bus

Behind Ambulances at TRUCKS 4 and 7, the courtesy bus allows you 15 minutes to put your feet up, rest, relax, hydrate, and re-energize yourself.

All Masqueraders must wear their wristband at all times; do not give it away to anyone. Your wristband is equipped with an RFID chip that will need to be scanned for meal redemption, access to events as well as access to the various stops.
You will also need it to be included in the band on the road, and for access to the mobile restrooms and bars. Security WILL NOT allow you to take part with us if you do not have on a costume and wristband. NO REPLACEMENTS WILL BE GIVEN.

For your safety, revelers will be separated from roadside spectators by our Rope Crew, please be mindful when entering and exiting the band.

Photo & Video Consent: Photographers and videographers will continuously be roaming the band. Participation in the carnival constitutes your consent to be filmed or photographed prior to and throughout the parade.

Please carefully listen to and obey our security members. They are there to ensure your safety. Security will be wearing black Gen XS Carnival T-shirts with “SECURITY” written on the back. If you have any questions or concerns at all, please immediately notify one of our security members. You may roam in and out of the band; however, anyone without a costume AND a wristband will not be permitted to enter the band. This includes spectators, friends, and family. Security will vigorously enforce this policy.

Trucks: Please do not hang onto or attempt to board any of our trucks. NO ONE, except authorized personnel with special wristbands access, will be allowed on the trucks.
